Primary CO2 Regulators for Draft Beer
Primary CO2 regulators connect directly to your CO2 cylinder and reduce high tank pressure to a precise working pressure for your draft system. Available in single and dual-stage models with dual-gauge displays for accurate monitoring.
- Dual-Gauge Models – Display both tank pressure and outlet pressure simultaneously
- CGA-320 Inlet Fitting – Standard connection for all CO2 cylinders
- Single & Dual-Stage Options – Dual-stage regulators maintain consistent outlet pressure as the tank empties
- Single & Dual-Product Models – Control one or two kegs from a single regulator body
Primary Regulator FAQ
What serving pressure should I set my primary regulator to?
It depends on your beer's carbonation level, line length, and line resistance — there's no single universal number. Most systems run somewhere in the 10-14 PSI range, but the right setting is specific to your setup. Use a balanced draft system calculator or contact us with your line specs.
Do I need a dual-product regulator or two single regulators?
A dual-product regulator saves space and cost when both kegs run at the same pressure. If you need different pressures per keg, you'll want separate regulators or a secondary regulator downstream for independent control.
