What's the difference between a platform drip tray and a recessed one?
A platform tray sits entirely on top of the bar with no cutting required — the easiest retrofit for an existing counter. A recessed tray needs a cutout in the bar top for a flush, built-in look. Platform is the right call whenever you can't or don't want to modify the bar surface.
Do I need the drain option?
For regular commercial use, yes — a drained tray connects to your waste line and needs no manual emptying. Skip it only for low-volume or temporary setups where running a drain isn't practical.
