Sometimes you just need to convert PSI to bar for imported equipment, figure out how many ounces are in a growler, or check what food pairs with a Belgian Tripel. PSI ↔ Bar ↔ kPa
1 PSI = 0.0689 Bar = 6.895 kPa. Most draft beer runs 10–14 PSI (0.69–0.97 Bar). European/imported regulators are usually marked in Bar; European draft systems commonly serve at 0.8–1.0 Bar. To convert PSI to Bar, multiply by 0.0689. To convert Bar to PSI, multiply by 14.5.
Ounces, Pints & Kegs
1 pint = 16 fl oz. 1 quart = 32 fl oz. 1 gallon = 128 fl oz = 8 pints. A half-barrel keg (15.5 gal) pours 124 16-oz pints or 165 12-oz servings. A sixtel (5.16 gal) pours 41 pints or 55 12-oz servings.
Beer Serving Temperatures
Lagers and light beers: 38–45°F. Pale ales and IPAs: 45–50°F. Stouts, porters, and Belgian ales: 50–55°F. To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius: (°F − 32) × 5/9. Most draft systems and kegerators should hold 36–38°F at the tap.

IPAs cut through spicy and fatty food; stouts pair with chocolate, oysters, and smoked meats; Belgian Tripels go with mussels, roast pork, and aged Gouda; wheat beers pair with salads and light seafood.
